The homeowners of this residence were experiencing cold floors and temperature control issues on the first floor. After using our thermal imaging camera we were able to show them how much of their energy was being wasted due to the crawl space under the home. Upon further inspection, we also found exposed ductwork. (Before the work began the technicians removed the old fiberglass insulation). This means the cold or warm air in the ducts was being altered causing the HVAC system to work harder to keep the temperature accurate in the home. The solution was to encapsulate the crawl space with matting on the dirt floor, Spray Foam insulation on the walls & ductwork, and dense pack the garage ceiling with cellulose insulation. This combination will keep the temperatures accurate, save wear and tear on the HVAC, and make the home a healthier space.

Our technicians were called out to a restaurant in Budd Lake experiencing a slow drain that was also backing up. We hydro-jetted the line and reworked some of the old plumbing for the customer.

A new customer in Flanders, NJ called Pipe Works Services because there was a leak in a pipe in the basement, our technician Mario was able to repair the older piping with a brand-new copper pipe and it was good as new.

Pipe Works Services received a call from a former customer in Florham Park, NJ about an air conditioning problem. Our technician Alan found the unit to be frozen, then checked to see if there was a leak using uv light and refrigerant leak detector. Alan provided an estimate to replace the line set to guarantee no further leaks. Pipe Works Services technicians Odin and Ramiot installed the new line set which allowed the proper distribution of refrigerant without risk of a freeze up again.

A new customer in Florham Park, NJ called Pipe Works Services on a Saturday. They leaked from a pipe in a closet. Our technician, Pedro, was on the scene and diagnosed the issue. A hole had occurred in the cold main water pipe near the water meter. Pedro replaced a partial section of the pipe with high-quality copper piping, fittings, and a new valve for the hose bib. Now, no more leaks!
