Condenser Replacement

During our initial camera inspection we found root infiltration and build up in cast iron pipe. our technician recommended hydro jetting the entire line from the basement area at the front of the stack in the basement, and to the city main to clear the line of any scale or build up. Due to a build up of rust and debris our techs needed to use a Picote machine to scrape the interior of all rust. After the rust and debris is removed he then uses a high power water jet to push out the debris in the line and into the sewer. After this is complete the line is prepared for the liner to be installed. The technicians then installed a 4 inch liner from the excavated area in the basement to the sewer in the street. The liner is steam heated and becomes as hard at metal. Now the sewer line is guaranteed for 10 years not to break or crack.

Replaced furnace for customer

A customer in Morristown, NJ called into Pipe Works Services about their water heater failing inspection. Pipe Works Services technician Mario was dispatched to see exactly what was going on. Mario diagnosed the venting was not changed from 3 inch smoke pipe to 4 inch smoke pipe. Most town coding requires this to be changed when replacing a water heater. Mario was able to replace it so the water heater venting was up to code and able to vent properly when in use.

A customer called into Pipe Works Services for his service agreement service and maintenance visit. Our Pipe Works Services technician provided a diagnosis that there was no access to clean the condensate drain lines. Since they have to be cleaned regular, especially this particular system , that some form of access was recommended to be installed. Pipe Works Services technician Alan and Ryan installed the new EZ Trap for better accessibility. Now build up in the condensate drain line will be less allowing the unit to work more efficiently.
