Before & After: Water Heaters

A Customer in Watchung called Pipe Works Services about a single ignition system repair over the weekend. We sent our technician Matt to the rescue to help solve this problem. He then called a few days later and was thinking about purchasing a whole new system because his exceeded its life span and it was likely to have costly problems in the future. We then sent our comfort specialist Lloyd to see if a new HVAC system and new water heater was a viable solution to his problem. Pipe Works Services came the very next day and installed a whole new Lennox HVAC system and Rheem water heater so that he is prepared for years to come from blistering cold and scorching heat!

Our customer had a failing boiler and as you can see from this photo, chaotic piping. The existing system set up was taking up a lot of room on the floor and the piping was an obstacle. As a result the wiring connecting everything created another element of confusion. Our System Design Specialist and Installation technicians came up with a very efficient system that is visually and functionally superior to the existing set up in the customers home. They also installed plywood to the basement wall to create stability for the piping.

Replaced both boiler and water heater for this customer.

A past customer from Madison, NJ called into Pipe Works Services because they had some deposits on faucet and in the water. Pipe Works Services technician Pablo was dispatched and diagnosed the problem. Even though they have a Halo conditioning water system, it would not 100% remove all sediment and debris in water lines, specifically with old piping and varied water conditioning entering the home. Pablo recommended cleaning and flushing the lines so the Rinnai tankless water heater would have a better chance of an extended life.

A new customer, a bowling alley, who saw a Pipe Works Services truck in Madison, NJ called Pipe Works Services because their Rinnai tankless water heater was leaking. Our technician Pablo diagnosed it was in fact leaking underneath the heat exchanger above the inducer assembly. The customer chose to replace the water heater and Pablo installed a new Rinnai tankless water heater for optimum water heating efficiency and performance.
