The customer wants a warmer basement in the winter.

Solution

Remove existing ineffective insulation from the crawlspace. Upgrade the crawl space with encapsulation and install a silver glow on the side walls. Reduce heat loss and infiltration of cold air by sealing and insulating the rim joist with spray foam. This will make the basement more usable and comfortable all year long.
