For the first time in its company’s history, Pipe Works Services is Sponsoring a Professional Development Program Event at Farleigh Dickinson University.
Pipe Works Services is proud to announce its sponsorship for a Career Intensive Workshop at Fairleigh Dickinson University on September 13th,2017. This is for the Professional Development Program located at the Silberman College of Business on the Florham Campus. It’s the first time that Pipe Works Services is sponsoring a college career event like this, and we couldn’t be more excited. We are taking a proactive approach to reach out to colleges and universities in our area and help in guiding students to make a flawless and less difficult transition to the prospective careers that they choose after graduation, as well as build their confidence, strength and maturity as they get ready to be business professional.
The primary objective of the Silberman College of Business Development Professionals is to enhance students learning and preparedness for their careers by offering workshops, talks, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and resources to help them secure a rewarding and enticing position in their field of study. Students, alumni, and industry professionals assist in shaping each semester’s offerings, and events that are indeed very popular and well-attended by all involved. The program as a whole is 100% committed to gathering more business leaders, industry experts, and pioneers to the campus to talk about the latest issues, trends, and advancements. Over the past three years, the Professional Development Program has held more than 30 events at both of the New Jersey campuses.
The Career Intensive Workshop that Pipe Works Services is sponsoring will help students with mock interviews, telephone talk and skills, LinkedIn accounts, page management and communication, 30-second elevator talk, headshots, and business cards. These are considered some of the most important aspects of the college to career transition and sustainability. Furthermore, these skills and more will equip them with the tools essential for success after graduation as well as enhance the overall quality of undergraduate business students’ experience.
